I read Kind had issues, and just read a possible fix for that now.
You can install the game into another partition.. however if you do,m the content folder is NOT moved off the disc.
Once the install is complete, manually copy the contents of the 15 meg content folder into the main install folder on your PC.. that is supposed to fix the issue with installing in a different location then default.
I’m installing now, and will report my success with this fix once I have done it myself.

I used a different method of installing it properly on C:\ but then removed it yesterday and reinstalled on my F: drive
The method you described is how I got it onto my F:\ drive.
Cool.. after I reboot (new ati driver) I’ll install it here.. we’re both eager to see how it looks in person.
I think we are already 20% through the wii version, on hard, with all items located.

You can install it, but I think it vaidates itself online once installed. You MUST have internet connection for it to validate itself.
what about a patch that eliminates the validation? Ive seen patches that let you run a game w/out the disc in the drive, something like this?
Those are game cracks, and yes they do work, though I read one actually has a securom bug in it… while it wors without validation, it kicks the difficulty level up to uber buster, making the game unbeatable.. LOL!
That’ll teach the pyrate kidz… hehee!
well for someone like me, a game crack is probably gonna be necessary - I doubt the thing about the bug making it impossible to beat though…
That was documented MANY people trying to pirate the game.. LOL!
BTW, there’s an excellent trainer out there now.. you run it, and then run the game, and can toggle on various options like no pack overheating, no deaths, or unlimited money.
I’m playing on the highest difficulty level, and if I run into a level I need to restart 20 times, I’ll toggle on the no overheating to give me a leg up.
Nice thing is, you can turn them back off as well.
