PC Version Release Date

I don’t know if anyone was aware of this beforehand. Personally I had just assumed that the PC version of the GB game was going to be released in the U.S. on the 16th as the rest of the platforms, but according to the Atari web site the PC version of the game is being released exactly 1 week later… on the 23rd of June. Now, i know it’s only a week difference & it isn’t that big of a deal… But i think it’s an important bit of info for anyone planning to get the PC version on release day & are expecting to get it on the 16th.

I checked GameStop & Amazon.com and they both show the release date for the PC version as the 16th… You would think that the Atari site would be the “official” source for release dates… So which one is correct? the 16th or the 23rd?

Personally I’m not planning on getting the PC version, but I wanted to pose the question so if anyone knows for sure which date is correct they can post it here.

Especially for something that’s half the price of the 360/PS3 versions.

dang it, oh well getting it for the 360 as well.

On the private Atari site it still says June 16th, but the DS version says June 19th.

PC Vers came out in US (New York) stores June 16th, I took a break from work @10am just to get it! 5th person on the line! LOL

my local Walmart had all the console versions on the 16th, but not the pc version - I called several days later and they still didnt have it - i wont have any to buy it until Wed 7/1 anyway, so I might just order it on amazon that day…
