I’m going to buy one of the Matty Collector PKE meters.. I mean, how can you not?
Anyway, so here is the question. When not in use what do you do with it? Is there a holster or something where it goes, or does it simply get stuffed into a pocket.. or is it one of those movie magic things that appears only when you need it, and then you don’t have to carry it around with you until you need it again?
Thoughts?
I thought I saw another thread on this, But If you are going by the game then it is on the right hand back side. I do think it does get clipped on some where on the pistol belt. But If it is hanging off your pistol belt near your front, that could be dangerous for the pke meter and your ■■■■■… just saying.

Lots of $$ for a holster
We saw a leather tool belt hammer holder at Home Depot that looked like it would make a good belt holster. It was under $6, if I recall.

i use a D cell nylon maglite holster. works great, and its cheap and very durable.

I actually did pick up a hammer holder, what I found is you need to cut the handle opening at the bottom to accomidate the PKE handle. Also the top snap does not fit over the top of the meter but it’s pretty sturdy and keeps it from banging around..Oh and I also had to dye it black, Leather dye from a shoe store took about three coats if y’all want I’ll post a picture or two to let you see how it came out.
Yeah, post them! I was going to take our hot pink GBdan pke shells to home depot to see it the handle would fit in them before buying them.

Hmmm thats not the same as the one we saw. The one we saw had a longer potion that would hold the PKE handle. We’ll do our weekly trip into the Big City this weekend, and if I see them, I’ll pick them up. I can always return them if GBdan’s PKE shells don;t fit.. they should be close enough in size to estimate how the Matty PKE will fit.

Beer Holster.
You can put a steel plate inside the meter then use a Neodymium magnet so it’ll hang off your belt like in the game.

I believe the Salt Lake City guys use a pistol holster for their PKE. Me, I’m using one of the Mag-Lite brand holsters and adding an elastic band to it. (Total outlay for that was about $10, including shipping.)
$42 for a holster and a bunch of key fobs isn’t a lot. That’s actually a good deal. A lot of labor goes into making those things.
If you were referring to a gun holster though, disregard.
I just posted this in another thread but… I want to wear mine on my belt so I’m making my own to match the belt gizmo holster I made. Something like this:
I have one from Momerath I bought months ago that is a belt loop design for the PKE holster. But I really dig your design, very nice idea. If you make one… mayhaps make another for sale perchance? 
I would totally buy that holster.
