Alright, so here is how it goes. Got the new game and am playing though and of all the things that jump out and I want to make first, it’s the PKE meter. Why you ask. Because despite the game being based in 1991, the PKE meter reminded me so much of newer phones. The majority of the operations could be programmed into the phone, including the ghost library that was accessible in the game. My boss just built and programmed the ability to bluetooth control motors and such, and between that and a basic programming app on windows mobile I could see this as a rly nice project.
Now comes the hard part. I haven’t touched programming since the days of assembly and basic.
Even a simple program on the windows mobile GUI would be a step in the right direction.
My question to those of the board is if anyone has any experience in programming that might consider starting even a simplistic program that looks like the PKE meter. I’m going to hit up my boss for his write up/program/schematics for his project and start reverse engineering it for my purposes, but in all reality I don’t see this being a project to be complete any time soon(took him better part of a year and that was with teacher help and such).
yes I realize there is no pictures yet, just an idea, but an idea in the right direction. Already starting to dig through the various sensors I’ve collected from various equipment to think of which would be great for providing some form of data for the bar graph on the screen to feed off of.
Please, I’d like any ideas or comments. I was thinking of just working on this in the background, but thought someone else might have a similar idea on here.
