These shirts are going to be made available at PKE Surge 2009. They will be made for pick up at the Convention, and will not be shipped (until perhaps after the convention). Currently the only way to guarantee that you will get a shirt is to pre-order it.

This is very important as it will let us know how many shirts we will need and allow us to purchase other PKE Surge merchandise prior to the convention.
I want to make it clear that the only way to guarantee that you get a shirt is to Pre-Pay / Pre-Order. We will have a very LIMITED amount for sale at DragonCon. It is very important that people pre-order as it will also allow us to purchase other merch for PKE Surge.
If you aren’t attending DC but still want a T-Shirt, please still submit a Pre-Order. We will hold onto your shirts and then work out the shipping after the convention. We will also be selling left over merch after the convention online if we still have some left.
If no shirts sell, there will be no other PKE Surge merch.
One recommendation for the shirts, that might sell more at the con.. put the 25th aniversary artwork on the front larger, and then put the pke surge logo at the top of the stuff on the back. The general public might spring for the 25th anniversary shirt, as well as ghostheads.
Also at the bottom of the back, put the gbfans.com weblink as well?
This one really isn’t about making money. Its to help pay for the things that are being produced / sold / given away at the Convention. So if we can sell a bunch of shirts now it will atleast help recover some costs.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off rude, but the 25th Anniversery logo is not ours to use. I have already discussed it with some of the others guys in charge of PKE Surge, we think the logo on the front will look better, especially with a simple black background. There’s a reason why so many of the GB shirts are like that, it’s a solid design.
The design is getting tweaked. I just have to wait until I’m back home to my computer and software. So final artwork will be posted by the end of the week.
We are actually gonna have a hard time selling these at the con since all stuff sold at the table can only be little trinkets made for your fan table. That is why these are available as a Pre-Order..
There actually isn’t a high quality version of the DC logo around anywhere otherwise.
I personally like the front of the shirt just the way it is. I would like to see the ‘green slime PKE Surge’ logo at the top on the back as opposed to the simple font pictured in the first post. I think the shirt has a simplistic charm, it’s classic, and will look good peeking out from under my flightsuit… I’ll be wearing the shirt and I hope everyone else will too.
