Hey, one Spengler pack guy to another…
So, after some radio silence on this pack, the last major change to it is finally on its way after being long in development.
Submitted for the approval of the Ghostbusters society is the start of my aluminum wand:
So, pictured here is my mutt of a wand build. The body is the GBFans/Mack’s body, the GBFans rear fuse/trigger box, the front is a FreekyGeeky. The individual parts are a combination of GBFans and FreekyGeeky aluminum parts. The grips are GBFans grips that were modified by Austin Young to be accurate to grips seen on the Spengler wand. I also have a wide range of vintage parts as follows:
Clippard R701 (corrected valve with “serif” font)
Red arolectric lamp
White arcolectric lamp
Hose barbs (2x)
Legris banjos with accurate steel bolts
Vintage Red Nycoil 4mm tubing
Vintage Green Clippard 3814-1 tubing (2x)
Milky white hatlights (2x)
Hat lights sockets (2x)
Panduit dome-top zipties (2x)
Alco Toggle switches (3x)
I’m hoping to have the finished up by this coming weekend, so I’d like to think this thread will be popping!

Build day on Saturday! It was a heck of a day. Lot’s of modifications needed to be made to make the Mack’s pop mech play nicely with the FreekyGeeky front assembly. Thankfully, my buddy has the capacity to do that type of work. He’s like a mad prop building scientist.

In the end, he pulled a rabbit out of his hat and really nailed it.

Love it! That’s wonderful that you finally have your aluminum thrower on the pack! Looks great with all the vintage pieces and little details!
