Hey all, sorry if someone else has already spotted this but thought I’d do my part and let everyone know. While searching for release dates on some other games (Silent Hill Homecoming, Dead Space etc) came across an interesting find. UK Amazon has Ghostbusters the game being released on June 26th 2009. Now no doubt this will probably change, it is at lease something to look forward to. Well for me it helps to know there is some light at the end of the tunnel

No. That is not the release date.
There will not be a release date until the publisher annouces one.
The reason the date of June 29/30 2009 is on the Amazon website is because it is SMACK dab in the middle of the Year.. and is on the Tuesday.. (or Monday at Midnight.)
They need to have a date (and in this case an estimation) in order to allow for them to take pre-orders.
I’m tried of explaining this.. but it is how it works.
They have had this date in their system ever since they heard it would be delayed.. (websites like Amazon don’t base their information on what an actor says).
Yeah, until you see one where the game says “Publisher: Atari” and it has a date, it’s not worth anything. And even then it’ll probably be bogus.
I’m gonna put down 5 bucks that says we get at least 5 more of these release date threads before Atari announces a date.
::sigh:: you listening Atari? I’m guessing it MIGHT conincide with the day they take down the boards at Activision. Maybe.
Guess we’ll see.
