I know I can get a T-shirt from Gamestop if I order the Wii version. Can I get anything else if I pre-order from any other retailers?

The GB2 uniform is only for the PS3 and 360 versions though.
Yeah, thanks for the heads up, though I’m a bit limited with my Wii. I just want to see what’s out there before placing my actual order and finding something cooler somewhere else (t-shirts are great, and I don’t complain with free ones, I just have so many now…)

I actually like the idea to be honest. It is a game after all and is set after the second film so it follows that they would have the suits.
I’m not too happy that the dark GB2 suit is a pre-order thing. It’s something that should be part of the in game content. Pre-order stuff should be like RGB suits or something.
In the end it doesn’t really matter, but it bugs me.
It’s almost like a Pre-Order incentive:

Yeah but for those pre-order codes aren’t they all the same code? So someone pre-orders it, posts the code online, and everyone gets it.
Nope. Each code will be a one time use incentive. After you use it on your game system you cannot use it again.
i went and talked to my buddy who’s a manager at gamestop by me and he checked the specials for the game preorder and he said its a BLUE flightsuit code and the t-shirt. he even showed me the screen and it says blue.
any ideas wtf is going on?
For which version?..and maybe blue is an error on GS’s part?
It is a mistake, sometimes the charcole suit looks a little blue, or dark blue.

And how would my copy of the game know if any certain code was used or not? Like if you used your code then gave it to me how would my copy of the game and/or XBox know that that code has been used?
I bet it’s a code that has to be entered online, like a map-pack for COD4 or something like that. Also, it pisses me off that people would get the code from someone that preordered. It’s not like it costs extra to preorder. I know that if the code is universal, it will get posted online and that irks me to no end.
Unless you are in Europe where this offer doesn’t seem to be available which is odd. I hope it is unlockable or we are missing out through no fault of our own.
still waiting to see what Best Buy is going to offer if anything. if not ill just pre-order the 360 version at GS and get the flightsuit. dont know why they left it out in the pc version.
I doubt that you will need to go online to be able to unlock something that is there anyways. Usually these gamestop pre order codes usually just unlock something that you eventually unlock anyways playing through the game.
I also looked around online and for all other Gamestop preorder codes that they have had for other games are the same (for each separate game of course), so no need to preorder it from Gamestop as the code will be online before most people that preorderd the game will even have it.
I am pretty sure that that is the case. When I preordered Marvel: Ulitmate Alliance for the 360 Gamestop gave me a free code with my preorder that unlocked the Silver Surfer as a playable character right at the beginning of the game. It turns out that he gets unlocked when you complete the game and is playable when you start over.
It would be my guess that the GBII flightsuit will be the same way.
