Printable 1:1 scale proton pack plans

Does anyone know or have a 1:1 printable proton pack plan, like stefans proton gun plan?

I am asking because I wanted to build a pack out of that styrofoam board that you can buy at wal-mart or micheal’s and wanted to print out a actually size pack plans and build it from there.

I know someone here build a proton gun that way. I just wanted to take that idea and build another pack.

Scale Stefan’s plans up, a little trial and error printing will get you there…

Read my thread bout my budget packs here.. we used insulation foam from lowe’s.. it’s more durable, denser, can be sanded or cut accurately and cleanly with a jigsaw, and the weight is just the same as regular styrofoam.

Good luck!

Sooooo. how exactly would one scale the plans up? photoshop ? I actually really dont know.

I actually made templates based on his plans… They are about 99% complete. Just used them to build a pack, and have a few minor changes. I will be posting them up on my website once I have completed them.

Will keep everyone posted.

1:1 Solved.

This has been bothering me for a while.

I’m creating my own pack and have been looking at ideas on the net for quite a while.

I have found printing multiple A4 pages out and sticking them together for the plans quite easy to use.

You want a 1:1 scale? do this:

Download the plans.

OPen them in photoshop or another photo/image editing program (maybe the GIMP can do it)

Use the ruler tool to measure an already measured part of the plan. Lets say the blueprint (plan) says 34.9mm. And you used the programs ruler tool to measure the actual size, lets say it is actually (if you print it out) 17.1mm.

Do this.

34.9mm divided by 17.1mm = 2.04mm

2.04 = 204%

Use the image program to resize the PDF or image 204%. There you go. You know have a 1:1 scale.
