Why is the proptopia forums such a guarded secret?
It looks like a cool place to share and build all kinds of props.
I have checked and they do seem to allow new people to join,
The newest member list seems to update frequently,
But its impossible to find anyone who is willing to share with whom to contact in regards to joining this site.
A closed to all forum is fine,
Dont want to allow anyone else to join, fine.
But at least allow people access to the generic Admin email so they can at least try to contact somone,
Proptopia isn’t really a prop site.. its more like a place to hang out and talk (sometimes argue) about things… while taking a break from prop building. Ofcourse if you are making something or want to talk about something prop related you can do that… but most of the members don’t work too heavily on props anymore.
Atleast that is my interpretation.

AJ hit it pretty close. Venkman71’s purpose for creating Proptopia was to “come in, kick back, put your feet up and shoot the shit”. There are those of us who have known each other for over a decade and he created a Prop Utopia for us to hang out. It is cool to see some new guys come in, but the majority of new guys over there join because they think they’ll find some Proptopia exclusive information or product. That isn’t the purpose of Proptopia. The purpose is to chill with your homies.
