Honestly, i don’t have the patience to build this thing…I want one so badly but was wondering is there a site that offers the kits. A friend of mine found a site that prepackaged all the parts to make the MST3K robots so, I figured someone would have a proton pack kit.
well on the for sale section there are sellers offering kits for the thrower as well as shells and the other misc parts that you may need. ive not heard of anyone offering a fully comprehensive kit yet but you can certainly buy all of the components.
Well first I’d say that making these packs is certainly no walk in the park, the do require a lot of time and patience if you are to get one looking good. As far as kits, there really is no one big kit you can buy with everything you’d need to make one but a few people on here offer shells of the pack such as exoray but you pay for the convinence of it being done for you. Irricanian offers gun kits which are awesome and he stocks a lit of the small parts such as tubing, resistors and twain copies of hard to find pieces and a few people also offer light kits. Look through the for sale section of this community and you’ll find a lot of what you’re looking for but as one definative kit, no such thing

Make him an offer, somewhere in the $1500 - $2000 range might perk some interest…
The problem with kits is no one would buy them, or at least the numbers would be very low… And the chances of you drawing the attention of the ‘watchers’ would be greater…
A kit of quality or even decent components would have to sell for $1000 - $1500 or so, more money then most will spend at a single time… Anything less and you will have to cut corners and quality would fall as has been shown time and time again by those that tried to offer up kits… Plus it’s a boat load of overhead for the seller to have on hand…
