Does anyone know who is putting this up on EBAY?
Just curious cause it says that it is formed around a movie-used prop.

It doesnt say exactly that it was formed around a movie used prop… just that its a replica of it… At least it looks like it could be decent…
that one looks like crap and makes it sound as if its super accurate… i can see 4 major problems right off the bat… and i think a ton more but i couldnt be certain without actually having it…
Looking at both auctions, it looks like it needs lots of work. Especially, the second auction. I don’t think I will even buy the one from the second auction. It’s way too inaccurate.
On the second auction, it appears that they were just experimenting using vacuum form.
I think their base pattern looks awfully familiar . . .

Compared some pics . .and yep . .that’s our cyclotron. Rotated and redone, but yep, It’s our cakepan on there alrrighty.
Ah well . . .our bucks have been campfire fodder for a while now.
Soo . .she’s a recast, or whatever you do to recast a vac shell, so if you have a thing about it . .. well personally, I could give a rats patoot, since its out of production, etc. so you decide.

Looks like they already added the 1/8" cosmetic plating around the spacer…and it looks like they forgot to leave the bottom-most spot empty for that cosmetic block thing, unfortunately,
Are you sure it’s a recast and not simply a re-sell? I’m just saying because I would think that a vac-form over a vac-form would look more blobby and detail-soft than that. That, and the cyclotron seems to be oriented correctly, so how could they have rotated it?
I’ll post some pics later on tonight. Honestly, it’s noit a biggy . . .we’re selling new ones soon.
If this person really is recasting (or revacing, I guess), then it’s probably a good idea that you’re telling people, even if you don’t mind yourself, since the public should know that this person is a con artist. Besides, who knows who else’s work they could be ripping off.
Hey guys, My name is Joe and the first proton pack is actually one of the ones that my friend and I put on ebay. Trust me when i say its not a recast. I made that one all on my own and I will even take some pics of my bucks and put them on tomorrow just to prove that its all my own. I’m honestly kinda flattered that someone thought they were good enough to be copies actually. I just hate the thought of someone thinking that I’m a con artist. Thats the last thing that I want. And also thank you for noticing about the bottom space not being left open, because I didn’t even notice that. Thanks for the interest in them no matter what though. Have a good one guys!
