Hello, I have seen some great sound and light combos on here, but one question, where and what do I need to buy to be able to do this ?
Hey, welcome to the site. First off, get yourself accustomed to the search function in the top right of the webpage. Trust me when I tell you, 99.9% of you questions can be answered from that area. It has helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!
As far as what you need, well, it varies. There are a few different kits you can get through both the GBFans shop and the FS section. The GBFans sound board, wand, and pack lights are sold through the Shop here but they are out of stock until sometime next year. Many consider these to be the ‘gold standard’ for lights and sound. Those kits also require custom ribbon cables that are also sold through the shop. You will need (regardless of the kit you buy) a speaker and battery. Both of which, again, are available through the shop.
There are two other sellers on the site, Crix and jackdoud that produce their own kits. Crix has both sound and lights while jackdoud only has lights. They are both available in the For Sale section of the forum. I personally have not used Crix’s kit but he is very highly regarded. I purchased jackdoud’s pack lights kit for my newest build since the GBFans shop was out of their’s. His light kits are, again, very highly regarded.

That is a much better question for AJ Quick, the site Admin. He runs the shop. Last I heard, it was just “out of stock until 2015” so I really have no idea when that’ll happen. I know he wont ship the batteries overseas but I have no idea about anything else as I am state side.
