I purchased the proton pack amplified soundboard from GBfans. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the movie sounds only to play through the pack. What do the numbers on the .wav files mean and how do you know what sound controls what switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you read the instructions for it? That would be my first port of call.

Yes, I have read the instructions numerous times. I flip up the #3, I flip up the #5, and nothing but the standard sounds that came with the board. The startup sound is all wrong and I want it to be inline with GB1. All the wav files have numbers and I am trying to figure out how to change them to function properly with the appropriate switches.
The sounds are GB1 on it, not GB2, so not sure what start up sound you’re getting? Do you have it hooked to a GBFans wand kit too, or are you using it standalone? I assume you have the 1, 4 and 5 dip switches all set to OFF, with 6 set to ON? Have you altered the sound files at all already? It might be worth replacing the sound files with the ones linked in the store, here just to make sure nothing has got screwed up, and then test it again.
Yes, I have the wand kit from GBFans as well. #6 is set to ON. I have not altered any sound files. It’s is the same as it came. I will replace the sound files from the website and try again.
If that doesn’t work it might be helpful putting a video up of your problem to help diagnose it
