I am planning on putting a speaker inside my pack to play the GB/GB2 soundtracks off a crappy little mp3 player and I started thinking… maybe I should get a second one to play a continuous loop of the Proton Pack hum noise. I found the hum online and started wondering if the continuous loop would be annoying over the course of hours.
Do any of you have experience with the continuous hum?
Is it annoying over time? Or worth putting up with because it’s awesome.
I have a pretty loud backround hum on my pack. I thought it would be annoying, but it just fades into the background for me, especially at a con. Kind of soothing really; makes me feel like Im wearing a real pack.
You will need to have some sort of volume control. There is a big difference between the ambient noise at a con and the noise at a small gathering.
