Puppet Venkman.

So this past year I finally finished off my Bachelor of Education, and as such, part of the program required us to take an art course which was a major bonus for me. Anyways we had to integrate Visual Arts and another curriculum area together and create an exemplar. I decided on Art and Drama, and my group partner and I decided to create puppets.

After some long debate, we decided the youth of today needs more 80’s, so he produced a Keaton Batman puppet, and I produced a Dr. Peter Venkman one. Needless to say I went a little overboard on the assignment.

The googles were added as visual effect for the kids, just before the accuracy hounds strike

Anyways, enjoy and feel free to ask any questions on it’s construction.

Yes, there is even a scale Alice pack frame under the pack, just really hard to see in photographs.

it looks heavy

its not half bad, i used a modelling clay that dries to the consistency of foam, so although not highly appropriate for a kid to use, its actually fairly light for an adult. These things were never meant to actually be used though, more or less an example of going crazy to achieve a result, lol.

That looks really amazing! In all honesty, I was expecting a felt puppet, so to see something that intricate is really cool. Fantastic job!
