Was just curious if anyone ever got these and what your thoughts were? I remember when they first went up I immediately signed up to be informed of there release. I never ended up getting any kind of notice after a few months so I went and looked to find they were sold out. I ran across them on ebay recently and come to find out they were a SDCC Lootcrate exclusive.
Strange since I’ve never seen any kind of advertisement for them except for the QMX newsletter at the time.
I wouldn’t mind getting them cause I like the style but I was trying to bid on Ray on ebay and he alone went for $86, and from what I’ve seen Ray seems to be the hardest to come across.
decided to take the plunge and I snagged Winston, Egon, and Peter, still on the hunt for Ray. Winston arrived today and I have the other 2 arriving on Friday, I’ll post up some pics when the other arrive for those interested.
I’d love to hear from QMX what exactly happened with these. My wife tried off and on to find them for me for a while after they were announced and supposedly released. I’m probably going to give in and grab them off eBay, and hope for a miracle, sadly, when it comes to getting Ray.
Granted this is an EXTREME long shot but I sent them an email asking if they had any tucked away for whatever reason that I could purchase. Also explained what happened like I did here to see if they give me any kind of answer for what happened.
I’m expecting a big fat no on them having any left but I’ll be curious to hear what there reply is on what happened to them.
@StrawHatPirate thats gonna be your best bet at this point. Winston I got off amazon since no one had Winston posted at the time but the rest are from ebay.
That’s definitely frustrating. Like you said, you’d think they could do some kind of a re-release with the new movie coming out and all. Guess it’s time to start looking at eBay auctions.
Congrats on getting all four! I keep checking eBay on a daily basis hoping to find Ray. Egon and Winston arrived earlier this week, and Peter is currently lost in USPS limbo, so I may have to order another if he never arrives. Regardless of issues with tracking them down, I love these figs and your group shot shows how great they look together.
yea I was very surprised I found and won him at the price I did, I thought he was going to go for alot more. If I hadn’t found him my only hope was finding someone who had him at Baltimore Comicon in August.
I don’t know what your searches are on ebay but I did: ghostbusters q-pop, ghostbusters qpop, qpop, q-pop. All of which I setup to be notified when anything new was added. Plus I checked multiple times a day. I think the one I got flew under the radar since the seller just put “qpop stanz” for the title.
