I have some resin pack parts that need a little work to smooth out some imperfections. I have heard about people using bondo. I have never used it before and had a question. Is there only one type of bondo, or is there a specific type for working with resin?
If if just a few pits and such, I recommend using Bondo glazing putty. It’s single part, and works well.
There are technically many types of bondo but chances are you’ll only ever find the standard autobody filler kind locally. It should work fine but like was said above, unless you’re doing major repairs some bondo glazing putty would be a better option. Just be sure you actually get the putty and not just a tube of hardener, that won’t do you any good.
