I have the 360 version of the game and I was wondering if anybody else has been losing sound while you’re playing multiplayer. It doesn’t happen every time I play live but every once in a while, the sound goes out and can’t do anything unless I restart the xbox. Has this been happening to anybody else?
That’s what xboxes do when they get overheated. Buy yourself some type of fan for it. It helps. I got one of these. Robot or human?
The sound on my multiplayer campaign went off just there. The xbox couldnt be overheated as i’d just switched it on and was playing my first game.
I have a fan very similar to that and it is always on blowing…I don’t believe its overheating since it only happens with the GB game
I’ve had one of those before. They don’t move much air into they system. Aside from the lights, I wouldn’t even bother with that. I would also avoid http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=42729 or any other item these guys make with this in mind. As to keeping your system cool so you don’t lose sound. You could try modifying the case to allow more air flow into the system or try using some Arctic Silver thermal compound to redo the GPU/CPU heatsinks. I really don’t recommend the Arctic Silver route unless you are willing to void the warranty on your system, not that opening the case to add vents into it would not do the same thing. There is just less risk of damaging the system’s electronics.
