I’ve done a search for this, but I’m trying to learn what all the differences are between the hero packs and the (new to me) “Super” Hero pack/wand. All I’ve been able to gather is the super hero wand has the flat, round light atop the gun and has the scrolling bar graph. Is this it?
It has an orange light instead of white on the thrower. It has a working bargraph. The metal knobs on the thrower are painted with black, as are most of the decals and warning labels. The wand and pack have their clippard valves swapped compared to most other packs.
In the movie you can identify it by the booster plug… it sits level with the top of the booster tube on the super hero, whereas others have it stick up a bit.
It’s the sony loby hero pack, have a look in the reference section for all the pictures of it.
I don’t think there was too much difference between the standard hero packs and the super really apart from what Kevin listed below.
It does have “hero” inscribed into the alice frame side of the motherboard. It was possibly the only one with the scrolling bargraph.
You can see it in the gozer sequence warn randomly between Winston and Venkman.
It had 16 lights in the powercell and was the only pack in gb1 to have a lit hatlight next to the clippard valve.
It was also used by Louis in the deleted Slimer hunting scenes for GB2.
It also has a black push-button on the gun ear, whereas most Hero packs had a red button.
