This is my first ever proton gun and first movie prop ever.I started collecting parts about a year ago and started assembly in Jan.I’m using a combination of Norm’s,Stefan’s and Sean’s plans with parts from the GBFans shop,MMM,Exoray,and random sources on E-bay.It’s not 100% finished nor 100% screen accurate but I think it’s coming along pretty good.What do you guys think?

I can see that it’s not finished.. You still need to work on the proton pack, as you’ve missed that little detail..

I kinda like the clean and new look.I figure authentic weathering will happen eventually with handling,use and sitting around on display in my house.

i agree thats a great looking thrower. did you build the body yourself, or was it from a kit? either way it looks great.
Scored the gun body off E-bay.It was just a smooth sided box,no holes,no stubs for either gun tube,nothing extra.
much of that looks like irris casts…looks good.
