obviously this stuff is impossible to come by these days. well, the Real Ghostbusters brand anyway, you can buy slime pretty much anywhere. but I’m hoping there is someone out there with multiple high-res photos of the label, or even possibly if someone removed the label from the can and scanned it on a flat-bed scanner. I want to make a few cans for my collection, but with the actual Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Plazm label artwork… it doesnt matter what color slime it is, I can change the hue for each can - I want to find a good clean scan and recreate it as a high-resolution printable file that I will offer for people to download to for free to print out and do the same thing. I found an ebay auction with an empty an for $30 but there’s no way Im paying that.
you probably realized this as I’m sure others have, my little girl has some Play Doh canisters…they look pretty much perfect.

I’ve got one of those, too. The labels are full contact, not like soup can labels where there is only a strip of glue down one side, so the label doesn’t peel off without a fight. I can’t upload any pictures to this stupid netbook I’m using, but when I get my desktop, I’ll post some.
ah ■■■■■■. thanks for the update Capt, I was hoping they were attached a small strip of adhesive then looped around (like a soup can) oh well. no rush on the pics, that info kind of took the wind out of my sails 
I’ll try to get you those pics in as ‘flat-friendly’ a format as I can. I was also hoping I’d be able to peel the label off and replace it, but given the age of the can I’d be paranoid about ruining it.
thanks, but dont even try it! it sounds like its a pain to get off. I offered $10 to the person selling an empty can on ebay for $20 but they turned me down. people want too much $ for stuff on there.

Don’t give up yet! I can take a few pics with the Camers locked down and the Can on a Lazy Susan. Pics could be stitched together to get you the whole label.
I appreciate it Capt, but dont make it a priority, I know you already have projects going on - I’m gonna keep bugging the ebay seller about their empty can and try to get it for a ‘reasonable’ price. if I do, I’m gonna spend some time taking pics and scanning it, by rolling the can into about 10 different spots to get the best outcome.
