Rear cylinder....what is accurate?

I have noticed a few variations in the measurements for the rear cylinder. By Stefans plans the cylinder is an 1 1/4" bar with 7/32" deep notches on both sides both running 1 3/16" in from the end.

Sean’s plans also use an 1 1/4" bar but with different measurements for the notches. Both notches are 1/4" deep with the top notch running 13/16" from the end and the bottom running 5/8" from the end.

I have noticed that most rear cylinders have the the notches running different lengths. What are the correct lengths? Was this a flaw in Stefans plans…?

Just make the notches fit your rear bar, and that gun track.

I think that’s basically the idea.

That is what I have done in the past but I was curious to know if there was a standard measurement out there.

I remember Sean saying that the measurements between his plans and Stephan’s plans are really only off by a small small small margin. Personally I go with Sean’s plans for the thrower for one reason and one reason alone…I can put a face to the name. I know…“it’s scientific”, but thats just me
