OK so I’m planning on doing a Ghostbusters themed Santacon uniform this year. For those who don’t know what it is, Santacon is essentially thousands of people getting dressed up in Christmas related costumes (mostly Santas but really anything holiday related goes - plenty of videos on youtube) on a designated day and you meet at different locations and points through out the day. I go the NYC one every year which is always a blast and decided this would be a unique costume to do for this year.
I planned on basing the costume around a red flight suit, I found a few options online but nothing I was really crazy about. Ideally I was looking to not dye a suit and purchase something that was already red. Doesn’t have to be 100% but wanted something semi close. Any ideas where I might be able to find one? I’m a pretty small guy 5’7" and about 130 pounds so I’d need something small.
Other than that I plan to order a “Kringle” name patch, dye a pistol belt green, was going to pick up a leg hose connector and paint that green and then just find some 1/2" diameter green hose to use for that. Obviously don a beard and hat as well. Any help on a flight suit ideas would be greatly appreciated.
