Restored Ecto-1 pics (roof rack and interior)

These were taken the night of June 16th, 2009 in Lewisville, TX during the midnight GB game release party at the Game Stop there. Terminal Reality creators were there signing copies of games for us and we snapped a few pics of the restored Ecto-1 for future reference.

great photos! thanks for sharing

What happened to the chrome underneath the passenger tail light!? It was there back when AJ took pictures of the car.

Sony, you are letting the car fall apart, again, damnit!

But yeah, you took some real nice pictures.

Just looked at the vid I took that night. The other side doesnt have it. Seems they changed that part or just forgot.

It could have come out on accident… Trust me Sony is taken good care of the girl.. cause they people who restored would be pist if they didnt, plus Sony spent a pretty penny getting her restored.

Ecto-1a details should be coming are way soon

HURRY!!!

The chrome is fine, it’s just reflecting the concrete

He’s talking about the missing piece between the double bullet lights and the reverse light down the back of the fin.

I just hope they aren’t missing because some overzealous fan or two decided to jack them!

But beautiful pics, man! Love the interior shots.

just a thought, could it be they’re somewhat canibalizing Ecto-1 to restore Ecto-1A? maybe they’ll be doing a promotional tour with Ecto-1A and perhaps can’t find parts in good enough condition to put on her?

Yeah.. they are taking good care of it..

Except when I saw it in May 2008 the rear passenger side brakeline was broken open.

It’s possible they took them off since the feature lines didn’t line up at all and they might be attempting to straighten it out. I mean, look at how terribly they line up!

Granted this is most likely a bumper issue, but I suspect they did this to make sure it gets realigned properly.

Both back sides of the car were severely banged up before the restoration. I’m sure they they straightened them out a stock part wouldn’t fit quite right anymore. The whole bumper doesn’t line up with the fender, especially on the right side. Even with our car we’ve had this problem.
