Since AJ felt the need to lock the previous topic, I started this 1 to get my point across. I was merely stating that someone has already posted the original RGB promo on youtube. Somebody already pointed that out in a previous post.. I purchased the RGB set from timelife and I recieved it today and I put a dvd into my player to start watching it. I was truely excited. This is a most wonderful collection that Time Life has put together and myself along with others are eternally grateful but lets be for real AJ, you are kind of holding people hostage who cant possibly afford this set. Its true that individual seasons will be available starting next year, but will that promo be included? Not everyone can afford this collection. Im a locomtive engineer for Amtrak who works almost everyday and I just have my girlfriend and no kids, so me purchasing this wasnt a problem but its not the same story for everyone on here. Im sure Time Life or Sony would not really want the promo on you tube but I feel as though if someone wants to see this then it cant be wrong trying to help someone out. Of course AJ, Im not trying to start a $hit storm on here because Im absolutely not, I just feel bad for the people who cant purchase this and they get yelled at on here and are being told to purchase the set. Not everyone has money or fortunate enough to get a set free. Tis the season to be giving, Right???

I think then people should be consider themselves lucky there is any version of it up at all. Something to tide people over until they can get the funds to get the set? Without a doubt, there are enough people with the resources who could have put a high quality version up by now. With all the big GB sites too. I think most everyone hasn’t not because of laziness, but has enough respect for what Time Life has done for us not to do that to them in less than a few weeks after it’s release. It’s an amazing set and there were definitely some “freebies” or previews, the clips of the interviews of the voice actors and writers and all. Even some instances of some people trying to put together some of the series music for everyone. Hopefully to inspire people to get this great set. I think people are fortunate to get to see it at all on youtube even if it is someone taping their TV screen.
It’s just funny, “can someone post the promo in high quality?” after they had gotten to see it in some form at least. It’s kinda like beggars being choosers. I guess one thing it really comes down to is AJ said NO. No one’s out to deny anybody the promo. If people like what they see from the youtube version thats up then hopefully if they want it bad enough, they can save up to get the set. Just because we’re long time fans who want it doesn’t mean we’re entitled to it. By that logic, why should anybody pay for anything?
While we’re at it, someone upload all the Slimer episodes! I mean it’s kinda like I hate to sound like this, I think people who don’t have the set should be fortunate a good majority of the episodes are still online at youtube or megadownload.com. I’d watch em while you can because who knows, they might be removed due to copyright violation at some point. That said it is generally frowned upon to post about a topic after it’s been locked, especially by the site admin. 
Again this is not meant to be mean to people or anything like that, it’s just kinda like “really?”
Unless AJ has something to add, I don’t think there’s any real point in continuing this.
