RGB Proton Pack and Thrower available soon on Shapeways!

I apologize in advance if this shouldn’t be posted individually, but I’m certain that there are folks here that will be interested in this outside of those that are interested in my RGB figures.

** Please note I am advising that no one buy these items until I have received my test prints and concluded that they are the scale that they are supposed to be.**

For those not following my Custom 6" RGB figure thread, I’ve been fairly busy with work and the holidays, but I did find time between projects to wip up these little beauties:

I know they’re not perfect, but I wanted to see what people thought. I am still learning how to use SketchUp, but I am very happy with how they look so far. I purposely left the hoses off the obvious areas, but they can be added after the fact to make each pack more unique. I will put together step-by-step instructions for how to finish the pack and thrower once I receive the ones I ordered, but in the meantime please enjoy.

They look pretty good, but, the front handle of the thrower appears to be unattached to the rest of the thrower. It could just be the lighting, but there appears to be a gap there.

You’re absolutely right, lol. I think I figured out the issue, and I spent the night reworking the pack too. Once I saw what the pieces would look like printed I had to rework them because I knew I could do better. =~)

Thank you so much. I have placed the orders for the test prints in a couple of different materials. Hopefully by the middle of the month I’ll have them. I really didn’t want anyone to order these until I was sure they were up to my standards, but I will keep everyone posted. =~)
