Hello! GB Fans! My name is Jon and I’m a lifetime Ghostbusters fan! I had tons of ghostbusters toys and action figures as a kid (god i wish i still had all of those!) and a few years ago I bought one of those cheap $40 ghostbuster halloween costumes with the desire to do a much better costume in the future. This year I’ve been working on my costume and doing a lot of reading on this website as well as others for advice on how to get things just right. So for starters I’d like to thank everyone who’s posted on those threads on how to dye flightsuits and what exactly to use and for all the details on prop accuracy! I’m ready to believe you! Earlier this month I found out about the Matty PKE meter from last year which I had previously not known about it. Unfortunately being so late I had to pay more for mine on ebay and am anxiously awaiting its arrival! As everyone knows, the Matty ghost trap went on sale today and am pleased to say that I have purchased mine first thing at noon today. So thanks again to people posting on this sight about Matty’s collection so that I knew about it in enough time to buy one straight from them rather than paying at least double on ebay.
Anywho, I guess for this post I should tell everyone a little bit about me. I live in Pennsylvania but do a lot of travel between there and Maryland where my girlfriend lives (we met in college) I’m currently unemployed but am looking for work in Maryland to move there so that I can be with my girlfriend on a regular basis. She’s awsome by the way and bought a sexy ghostbuster halloween costume to go as a ghostbuster with me this year! I’ve always wanted to make my own proton pack and ghostbuster trap and I’m sure I will when I get some time and money in the years to come, regardless of the Matty props, which are great and all but are no substitute for heavy duty props that can take a beating when worn for costume purposes. Anywho I look forward to talking with you all about ghostbusters and all related psychokinetic activity.
