Rookie.........

ive been wanting to create a ghostbusters costume for a very long time and im finally able to do so now. So im currently working on a budget proton pack. The end game on a proton pack is that I really want a Bob’s pro shop proton pack. But that will have to wait till im able to save up the money. Im also looking into taking my Ford Escape and doing a Ecto type of build but we will see.

Here locally im on the board of directors for our towns local Comic-Con and have been doing cosplays for almost two years. I do to local state conventions as well as a couple ones in Oregon. Well again thanks for having me and i will post updates on my builds.

Welcome aboard, Hellraiser

As it happens, my first bit of advice to you might be the most important I ever impart to you: do not under any circumstances give your money to Bob’s Prop Shop.

Bob has amassed a reputation of notoriety for years, chiefly because his products are shoddy and poorly made, and copied from parts that are offered by other, much more reputable sellers both on this forum, and off of it.

I can appreciate that the cost of assembling a costume may look daunting, but what you’d save in cost you’d end up spending in order to make the parts you buy from him serviceable.

For more detailed information on why to not shop with Bob, please read the Blacklisted Sellers List (which’ll also give you a quick guide of who else to avoid).

We’ve got a wealth of information here, so we’d be happy to help make your Pack build and Ecto conversion the best they can be, and often with good results even for a budget build.

ok im looking into the link you gave me. I will extensively research your concern. Id rather give someone money to make a pack knowing its from a reputable seller/creator. Thanks again
