Question about the Ion Arm. When I built my pack, I accidently put the ion arm on backwards so the slopped part is on the inside of the pack. When I found this out, I was Mortified! But then on review of ROTGB I noticed their Ion Arm assemblies are the same way. To the inside. Is this acceptable or what?

YOu can really do whatever you want with your pack, but yeah, your Ion Arm is on backwards.
I actually own Andersons pack, belt with accessories and flight suit. And there are alot of short cuts that were taken in the construction of the pack. The Ion knob is just a plastic screw on end cap for a PVC pipe. Looks great on screen, but ■■■■ in person. Great movies though.
Ion Arm, is not the Ion Knob. It can get confusing, but the Ion Knob is also called a shock mount, and is located on the bumper, the Ion Arm is located on the top left of the pack. It’s the most obtrusive part of the pack.
So yeah, I watched a few bits of the film again and yes, thier Ion Arms were backwards.
I realize the difference between the two, I was just giving an example of a short cut that was taken. It just happen to also have “Ion” in it as well.
