Do you have to buy the jumpsuit to get a pack or will they be sold by themselves. Depending on what it costs I’ll get one for my 5 year old.
Doubt they’ll be selling the Pack and uniform separately.

Depending on the price, I may pick one of these up for my kids instead of scratch building them one. That way can focus on building my pack.
If they followed Gary’s suggestion then it will be made from the same rigid foam that they make their tombstones decorations from.
That should also mean a modest price tag.
Same here, I will probably get two for my girls and sock them away for when they ask for packs. If they sell well maybe Rubies will make a full sized pack?
Man…I hate that foam ■■■■. Either it’s that styrofoam cup style junk or it’s that “just rigid enough” strange foam, both are what rubies use. Im hoping they make it out of plastic because modifying either of those will take as much time as building one the regular ways and even less of a mess. I wonder how it would hold a Dixie hook.
still, that doesn’t hinder me from getting one. whoever id lend it to can live with out lights.
If they are foam then you can make a true stunt pack. My only concern is, unless the dude that modeled the pack is a 1.5:1 scale human, the pack looks tiny.
Also, why hasn’t Gary piped in yet? Are you just being modest, Gar? This is your brain child and its a pretty huge milestone in the fandom!
I was just made aware of the thread.
When I got my Creature grave walker around halloween, (pic attached) I sent a message to rubies thanking them for such an amazing piece for such a great price (close to original size, chest, arms and head full 3d for under $100 shipped.)
I mentioned to them that Mattel was just releasing the trap, and that since they already had the license for costumes, they could easily do a rigid foam trap or pack and sell it for the same price.
They liked the idea, and asked for some links with reference materials.. so I of course mentioned GBfans.
I contacted Vince since he had IMHO the best shell around, incase they wanted to contact him for reference, but never really heard back from them again. (this was in Nov I think, around the holidays)
The foam in question is very rigid, kind of like great stuff once it settled. The painted it in what looks like a cross between regular apple barrel paints and house paint, and in another email, told me the paint was weather and uv resistant.
The grave walkers are now uber buck$ on ebay, and I’ve seen the creech sell for as high as $600.
I’m actually going to email that contact again, and see if I can find the pricepoint, see if it has any lights, if they are considering doing an adult sized version, and also a trap.

Looks like these will also be in regular stores.. so I’m guessing $69 or so.. and even more important, AFTER HALLOWEEN CLEARANCE SALES!
We’ll get a pack so Marci has a smaller pack option, or if kids want to wear one at events, they can wear something that didn’t cost $$$ to build.
EDIT: I located the emails, and they were sent last July. I replied back to the guy in charge of product development, and his assistant as well, asking for some specific details:
Price
lights and or sound
build material
possibility of the ghost trap as well
possibility of a full sized adult pack
and I asked if there was any way to get a review version… :mrgreen:
If I hear anything back from them, I’ll pass it on. (unless its a hit the road and stop bugging us reply) 
I hope they hit u back I’d like to know more on these my self plus a price would be nice! 
Once these hit, who’s gonna offer the upgrade kit with scaled-down vinyl/foil labels?

Yeah, price will be a deal breaker, but I don’t expect it high since target, kmart and walmart will carry them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a discount store halloween costume go over $70
For all we know, they might already even have foil labels. We need a review or more pics, and not just the promo pic, but actual shipped product pics.
Maybe I should suggest they do a slimer prop as well?

I asked a few more questions, since I just heard back from them.
I suggested a large grave walker hard foam life sized slimer, and 3 foot tall or larger blow molded light up stay puft and slimer.
(I’m a real fan of blow molded Halloween and Christmas decorations, and both have one main color, with just a few additional color accents, making them good candidates.)
My questions were sent to product development, so they can correctly answer our questions, since he’s really just the main overlord of product development there.
Still, its good they remember me and were kind enough to reply in less than an hour.

I am so sorry I missed out on that…
I wonder if this development will have any affect on Matty. Maybe they’ll see this and begin to believe a Pack replica is doable? Maybe they’ll see the sales and want similar results (I would think this will sell really well)?
Of course, that’s operating under the assumption that Matty doesn’t already have future plans for a full Pack, which I would be surprised if they didn’t.
Im also kind of wondering how it affects a matty pack. Seeing how GHOSTBUSTERSMANIA asked toyguru three different ways if mattel was going to make a proton pack and they were given the same answer “no” each time, I wonder if the rubies scored the license for a proton pack and mattel didn’t.
That goes into licensing and permissions and junk like that which flies totally over my head anyway. I hope it doesn’t have any affect either way for or not mattel making a proton pack.
