So far the only events related to GB happening is one of the video game writers on a panel Thursday and the Mattel toy panel Friday. Who knows maybe the Sony booth will have some kind of freebies or something like that at least for the 25th anniversary.
Well TMNT is getting a panel on the Friday to celebrate its 25th anniversary so perhaps there will be something on the Saturday/Sunday? crosses fingers

They get a panel (at least I think it’s a panel) with David Tennant that I’m going to miss because they’re all sold out and I didn’t get the 4 day pass in time. Sadface.

It’s Sunday 10-11am with Tennant and Davies. You will need to line up around 2 am to get in that panel. No joke.

One of the worst is the Mythbusters panel. I worked at the line during my volunteering last year. As I told oldhope above, if people aren’t in the line for the panel, they’re already in the room waiting through many panels till theirs starts. I’ve only gone to two panels each year. You really do have to pic the ones you really want to see and stick to them. At night they do film screenins like for the Green Latern cartoon Thrusday night. Those lines also form very early.
So what would be a good leadway to get there? an hour? 30mins? Since I ‘really’ want to see the Mythbusters panel I’ll turn up 2 hours early if need be.
Go to the area upstairs when you first get there Saturday. Just ask the people working at the door of that panel room if they know of a line forming or when a line will be allowed to form. Regularly go back and check. I didn’t and missed out on the MST3K 20th anniversary reunion panel and will forever kick myself.

So far, still no scheduled Ghostbusters related events/panels (other than two panels talking about 80s action figures).
Anyone want to set up a hang out day and time? As I said before, I need to schedule what costume to bring on which day. On Friday, I’m meeting with some Sam & Max fans (so I’m wearing my Sam suit that day). Thursday or Sunday, I’m going to see Scott Campbell (that means my Psychonauts costume).
I really want to meet other Ghostbuster fans (I’m annoying people at home and work talking about the movies and cartoon all the time)…

I forgot to ask, do I need to check in with security because of my Proton Pack? I could probably see people mistaken it for a bomb… (But why would someone have such a large one strapped to their back in plain sight?) ^^;
Nope, never had to check in a pack. I can only assume because it’s so far off from looking like a real gun. Just don’t pull your wand out for every pick. I don’t think there is going to be any big meet up. We’ll be in our AZ logo shirts wondering around most days, just look for us.
Man last year they had the GB video game booth and like 20 people with packs walking around with no problems.
I’m hoping to hear some talk about GB3 this year at the con and again I will be posting pics of it when I get back.
We’ll be arriving in San Diego early Friday morning. I want to meet ALL of you, goddammit.
That settles it. Thursday is a definite Ghostbuster day for me.
I’ll keep an eye out for all of you (although, I have a feeling you guys would spot me easier)!

While my group is perusing the con, I have bunches of free seats in the Ecto. How should we be in contact? Twitter? Phone numbers, ideas?
I weighed the pros and cons of bringing which costume tomorrow. The Ecto won me over.
