Sorry, I don’t have it anymore and it was a few years ago. All I can remember is that it was a construction adhesive caulk.

I went to Menards this weekend and in the caulk section found a Liquid Nails that this an all purpose that dries clear. That should work just fine. The Bondo there is in big containers and about $15 a piece. Home Depot had smaller containers for a little less. I am going to shop around still as I don’t want to spend $25+ if I don’t have to.
I am at the point where I need to start cutting a cyclotron, but I think I can handle it. The other parts I built and taped look pretty good, but aren’t totally flat. I think I am going to cut a cardboard motherboard and cut out the middle leaving a 2" width. I can glue the parts against that as a flatter backing and let the glue/caulk fill in the uneven parts so it sits flatter against my mdf motherboard.
After I put the resin on, I am assuming I can sand any uneven spots to look crisper.
So, in theory, I can get that far. I am stuck on a cheap/easy way to do the bumper, and I am not totally sure how I will mount to the motherboard. Finally, I need to find a good reference for the Vhooks. I am pretty sure I will have to buy the official ones.
I am keeping an eye on a good Allen pack deal, but if I get too crunched before Halloween, I can live with a temporary rig…same with cables…if I don’t get it 100% done, no on will notice/care.
You can sand it lightly but it’ll be pretty smooth. You can also use light weight drywall putty to fill any imperfections. That caulking should be fine. I used a small container of resin, I think it’s the smallest they have (1qt?).
You should take some pics and start your own thread. It’ll draw more attention and other people could give your suggestions and help too. I’m excited to see your build! Good luck and have fun!
I finally got it finished, once again it had to be sat aside and out new pup chewed a little on it and I had to redo some things.

I think that is a great build. Wish I would have come across this post a week ago. I’m currently in the middle of building my first proton pack and I’m using cardboard. Some of the things I have seen here would have made things greatly easier than the way I went with mine.
Thanks, it was really easy. Doing the mounting stuff on the motherboard and the electronics was the most time consuming. Everything worked out great other than the puppy chewing on it.
