Ouch. Damn. I seriously hope the press isn’t jumping the gun with all of this “news”. The way things going its gonna be Ben climbing the Statue of LIberty instead of Patrick.
I don’t really wanna be getitng into the whole GB3 debate, if it gets made, then great!
But this is just a rumour atm…It’s not even as advanced as the rumours of GB3 were back in 99 when a script had already been completed!
Anyways, if this does turn to be true it will be great. And to be honest, I think we’ve been gearing up for this for a while. Video Game, Real Ghostbusters on DVD, Master Replica’s picking up GB merchandise. The GB community has been booming and this rumour has been big news. BBC news which dosn’t really pick up on much false rumours has reported it. I went into work this evening and everybody who knows I’m a GB fan bombarded me with this news…I didn’t even need to tell them. The word is on the street! Ghostbusters 3 does seem to have a market!

I almost wonder if that’s why the comic con deal was canceled? I mean the Office writers could have started on the script around then, and the boys and Sony decided do bail on ComicCon to not answer any GBIII questions. I think Aykroyd was going to officially announce that the game was titled GBIII, but then he heard about Sony hiring the writers.
I could go on but it’s all speculation on my part. I’m not getting my hopes up (yet), but this is fun to talk about when all these news sites pick this up.
