Hey everyone, so right now my pack internals are all just dry fit inside my pack. I see some of you build these beautiful organized units you place in your packs. I haven’t seen too many post about how to do this and I was hoping for some help in finding out materials and what useful and what works.
This looks so incredibly complex…good to know someone made one that ACTUALLY catches ghosts though! lol What kind of materials would you say work best?
Sintra is a Godsend… Also, walk around your local hardware store, you never know what kind of interesting stuff you will find that will be useful in your plans…
Speaking of plans, make one… Think of how you will mount everything, then dry fit it, see if it will work, see if it all fits under the shell, get some string to figure out cable lengths, use temporary stuff like duct/gaffer’s tape, clay, hot glue and/or scrap cardboard (don’t cut the Sintra until you finalize your plan)…
Also, think of future upgrades, make room for them… And also, I set everything up so that it may be disassembled easily… Like even my reflectors and lenses are just hot glued on, just so I can easily remove them if I wanted to… No rivets (except for my L-brackets on the mobo), no superglue, and all my “fake welds” are just for show (my booster tube is not actually welded to my ion arm assembly, but it looks like it is…)
Yea my pack is a little different so planning will be key, the cyclotron is separate from the synchronous gen so everything has to fit under the SG so i would probably have to make smaller sections or even larger flatter sections to fit it under the SG in my pack (a lot of the rest of the pack is wood…old school)
Yea I have the little GBfans speaker in there but i might want to upgrade to a bigger speaker. Im usually the music master and I recently worked it out to be bluetooth connected to my spoitfy phone
