I’m throwing together a quick Studio Creations pack this year (still need a few pieces for my proper aluminum/fiberglass pack!). I’m trying to use whatever I have around just to see if I can do it.
For the Ion Arm assembly I used a wood base with a (slightly undersize) copper rod, and some aluminum tape. I waited about half an hour for the paint to dry and then roughed it up with some sand paper. Not accurate, but it was cheap! Looks alright.
