So the iPad's finally coming out.

Must be a faulty product, OH WAIT WHAT’S THIS?

Check out how nowhere in that article are we given instructions for a capture (sending the device back to Apple for hardware diagnostics) or for device replacement pending the failure of those troubleshooting steps. I’ve handled several of these questions and following that kbase has resolved the issue every time. BOOYA

That was such a poorly-worded post that I can’t really tell if you were trying to trash talk the iPad or if you were trying to clarify what he was saying. You need to try harder, I think.

Can the iPad make phone calls? Yes, it has the same telephony capabilities as most wireless internet devices that do not have direct cellular service via a SIM card. i.e. If you wanted to make a phone call on the iPad, you would do so the same way you would on a netbook, via Skype or a similar program and headphones (though you can use the speaker and mic).

The real question is: Will it blend?

God bless him.

I hope they removed the battery.

Was still working and on when he bent in half.

I personally liked it when he blended the iPhone. That was the shit, because it could make calls.

So how much is the Apple logo worth?

About $240.

The only things magical and revolutionary about the iPad are the profit margins.

Yowzers!

Well that fails to take into account the developing costs. Photoshop cost a thousand bucks even though the DVD was only 10 cents to make.

The Lemur is sweet.. if the iPad can do stuff like this it will be cool: http://g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/musicalplaytime/70034/dj-mike-relm--the-lemur.html

On behalf of the Windows users of the world: HA!

Apple iPad users targeted by ‘iTunes’ virus

Part one of a three piece project made in regards to iPads, iTunes, DRM and consumer rights. I wrote and directed these.

Kudos.

On the plus side; now you have an excuse not to loan your books out to people.

Haha, you can get the actual book for $699.00 less

I just did some quick (and completely unscientific) math and figure that if you buy the iPad solely for books, with the price of digital new releases being what they are (around 15 bucks) and the price of hardbacks being what they are (roughly 26 bucks) then you will start to see a savings on your ipad purchases after roughly 47 digital downloads. So if you purchase 47 new releases a year then you could actually save money with an ipad, eventually.

That’s assuming you go with the cheaper model of iPad.

Then you might as well get a Kindle… No?

If it is purely for reading, sure, though the Kindle isn’t in color and it doesn’t look like a color Kindle will be released anytime soon. Any books with color, images, or magazines would probably be out of the question.

A lot of the times you can find copies of a book for less than the digital download, especially for older books. I had a friend who wanted Frankenstein. Digital download, $10. New Book, $2. Used book, 99 cents.

I have two more of these hitting the YouTubes soon. The project was basically a way to make people aware of how DRM can gip them out of simple benefits. Its not just the ipad, but XBLA/PSN games, digital movies, itunes, etc. Plus, who doesn’t like poking fun at apple?

Poke fun at how the dang thing doesn’t support flash.
