If they use that display for lab coated
figures someone needs to get kicked. That display is beautiful and I’m dying of anticipation to know if there’s anythig new were gonna see. I hope gozer and terror dogs

Going by the display, as there is debris where the dog statues would be and the temple interior seems to be lit up. It’s either Terrordogs and Gozer or Dana and Louis and Gozer.
At least it shows that they’re getting behind the product line. At the last NY Comic Con the Ghostbusters items were relegated to standard glass cases with no display to speak of. I hope this makes it to the East Coast too.
Oh man I can’t wait to see pictures of that all finished up! And what a tease… I remember seeing the old Kenner commercials as a kid and asking my parents for “the streets” they show in the commercials. Alas, those were a tease as well.
I can’t imagine that Mattel could possible improve on the Gozer and Terror Dogs NECA already made.
true, NECA’s versions were incredible. but they are rare*, and not in scale with Mattel’s line. and they are separate companies so it’s not like Mattel can take NECA’s molds and make more of them. so while NECA’s figures may be superior to Mattel’s, it comes down to the fact that not many of us have them - I have a NECA slimer w/ a broken hand and a scuffed up NECA stay puft, so I would definitely welcome a Gozer figure and/or Terror Dogs made by Mattel.

You’re right though Joe, they are hecka-rare! As far as the scale goes though, the dogs and Slimer seem right on to me, but Gozer is a bit large…
Honestly though, there is no comparison between the Matty and Neca Slimers. If you want a good Slimer, Neca is the only way to go.
Glad I bought two of each when they first came out! Except Stay Puft… I didn’t care for that one at all. I prefer the Tsukuda version over NECA’s.
yes, you’re right, I wasnt counting the ones in the NECA set that’s going for three HUNDRED dollars… and I didnt see the other individual terror dog that’s going for $150 - this is why I hope Mattel surprises us with terror dog and Gozer figures on friday
I also just noticed an auction for a fan-made Slimer that I’ve seen in someones collection here before, does anyone have more info? (Slimer Figure on Stand 7")
