Ok I have a boyfriend that is a complete ghosthead (i’m not) however I come from a line of carpenters so i want to build him a pack but there are so many details if anyone can give me any advise i’d be can thankful because this is his christmas present and i want it to be perfect. 
Best thing to do is go to the reference section and part information section of this site and get familiar with the different parts of the pack.
Look over the different types of plans which will be found in those sections also (there are 3 well known ones) and see which is best and easiest for you to do. If you are a carpenter, then probably Stefans plans would be best since it deals with a lot of measurements. Plans are pretty good and seld explainatory. However, if you have any problems with a certain part of it, then go ahead and search the forums and make sure it isnt something that has been answered in another post. If its a new question, then just ask away!
