Yeah… the “plan” is to use a 1/8 Hardboard to make a motherboard and 1/4 to make the lower level of the pack and fill in the edges that have been cut with Styrene.
Cut off the Ion arm as I want to put at least a 1/4-1/2 rise behind the Booster so it will need to go up as well. Though if I do, I will need to raise the height of the bargraph as it is about 0.66 an inch short compared to the rest of the boxes when compared to Stefan Otto’s Plans.
Obviously it still needs a lot of cleanup and a bit more trimming.
…I really should have just painted this thing and added a few upgrades.
If I had a dollar for every time this happened to me I’d build two Movie Accurate packs. That could actually throw proton streams. All I can say is take your time, try to breath, and Lots of luck to you. let us know about the progress.
I’d love a proper pack, I just can’t afford one and I don’t have access to a 3D printer so I have to pay the premium of having other people print for me. So printing one isn’t much cheaper. XD
Thinking of getting the Bumper printed, not sure it’s worth $20-$30 to me though.
Probably going to get the ladder, the resistors and a knob printed in scale.
