Stay Puft Head Paper Model Help

As suggested, I’ve taken a look at Pepakura (a paper modeling program) and I like what I’ve seen…

I’ve begun construction on a Stay Puft Head model in SketchUp…

Long way to go, but it’s looking good so far…

But I need a little help…

Does anyone know of a good font for the “STAY PUFT” on his hat???

I’ve looked through my collection and nothing seems to fit…

cooper black comes to mind. I think it’s the name i am thinking of.

You could try Adira Display - found here - http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/rounded-fonts.htm

No font suggestions here, just major encouragement to spell it right, as you have above. That’s a major pet peeve of mine when people get his name wrong.

How have you seen people misspell STAY PUFT?

The suggested “Adira Display” Font worked beautifully…

Thank you for that…

As I progress on this model, I’d appreciate everyone’s input…

What looks right? What looks wrong?

Once finished, I do plan to make the paper model publicly available for everyone…

I am making this wearable size btw…

I assume everyone here has seen the movie more times than they can count… lol

I know I need to add facial definition and do some rounding…

And the “STAY PUFT” on the hat is only just a mock-up currently…

But how is everything else looking?

Does anyone have any suggestions for the hat?

Wrapping the curved surface of the hat onto the curved surface of the head made everything look weird…

A quick video of the model to get a better idea of what you are looking at…

Can be found here: http://www.kylepasciutti.com/XYZOTHER/vid01.avi

that is so cool…especially if you light one on fire and get it semi burnt…

I’ve seen people use Stay Puff. :sigh:

Great work btw! Looks great!
