Stay Puft Marshmallow bag reference needed

Hi everybody. I’m new here and have a quick question. I’ve been doing re-imagined one-sheets (movie posters) for my favorite movies, and the time has come to do a Ghostbusters one. I’d like to whip up a Stay Puft Marshmallow bag in Photoshop, but would like to find some clearer reference for the label than the screenshot I found of it.

Does anyone know where I can find any photo reference of the bag? I know there’s a couple fan made ones and they’re great, but I’d like to do something a little more accurate to the movie. Are there any pictures of the actual prop floating around anywhere?

Here’s my poster site if you’re interested http://onesheetredux.blogspot.com

Thanks for reading!

Here’s what I’ve got.

If you save them to your computer they’ll be larger.

Also, I don’t remember who made this but…

wow thanks! great grabs and really helpful

do you know if that label is official or fan made? it’s pretty good.

thanks again!

I’m not really sure. When I originally got that image it was much smaller but I spent some time in Photoshop enlarging and repairing it (it didn’t re-scale very well).

Can’t wait to see it - love your artwork.

Do you still have the original, Vince? I’m in the mood for taking it through Illustrator.

thanks very much! working on it now

Here is an original:

Here’s one I did for the heck of it a while back with back of the packaging included. Hoping to draw something more accurate up soon. This was a someone modern take. The 15 cent price tag taken from the Stay Puft advert on the back of the movie scrapbook.

Thanks!

The finer, less solid lines are going to be involving a lot of guess work and a little bit of artistic licence… but thankfully they don’t comprise the whole design, so there’s enough to work from when creating a vector from it.

Anyone remember where the file came from?

Mine is from an eBay auction that was selling some original Stay Puft art from maybe 5 years ago.

Thanks for the help, guys. Here’s the poster. If anyone wants the Stay Puft label, message me and I’ll hook you up.

I LOOOOOOVE IT! Awesome job, man! ==6

Thanks man! Couldn’t have done it without you

That looks great. Thank goodness there’s plenty of helpful people around to enable these cool things to develop.

Awesome awesome and more awesome. I think that poster rocks!

I love that poster

Was just looking through the website. so many great posters.

If you did one for The Warriors, you would officially hit all of my all-time favorite movies.

…please do a Warriors one.

Wow, this is amazing!

I’m looking to make myself a goalie jersey of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man:

I’m looking for a high quality (preferably vector-art) dickey and kerchief, and the one you made for this is amazing!

Would you be willing to share your art or help me whip up a quick jersey?

Thanks in advance!
