Super Soaker Backpack, anyone?!

  1. I happend to notice the other day looking through old magazines that was a few 90’s era Super Soaker backpacks that looked like the Slime Blower, has anyone tried to use an actual backpack from one of those in a pack? I’d really like to know where I could find one, I already looked on Ebay!

The problem with finding old super soakers is that the average lifespan of one was estimated at 2 years with normal use of the target buyer. I’ve acctually done work on the interior of them and I can tell you that like all plastic toys of the 90s, they were not the greatest material. You would have better luck checking a Salvation Army store then finding someone selling them on ebay cause they just are not worth anything.

i actually remember what your talkin about…i wanted one soooo bad to shoot my brothers with…lol..but yeah inferno is right…they dont last long at all…once in a while ull find a few that work great even after so long but its rare

I believe the exact model was the Super Soaker 300…oh, how my 4th grade heart lusted after one of those things! If I remember correctly it has 2 yellow water tanks side by side that strap onto your back. Too small for a slime blower but I still wouldn’t mind having one to run around squirting people with.

The 300 was similar to the 100, but it had a 3 nozzle head and 2 tanks with an elarged presure tank. I think the one with the backpak was the 600 but I may be wrong about that part.

A Google image search for “Super Soaker 300” turns up a photo of the Super Soaker I remember. A buddy of mine had one and I always felt like Blaine from “Predator” every time I strapped that fully-loaded “Old Painless” on. 8) A search for Super Soaker 600 didn’t turn anything up, but if the bad boy I remember is a measly 300, what’s a 600? The Super Soaker Abrams tank?

Ok I remember that one now… I thought it was a higher number than it is. And now i can’t remember the one I’m thinking of.

you mean this one??

Now THAT is a smile-all-day mental image! Thanks! Ahh, the memories…“C’mon you motherfu*kers…‘Ol Painless is waitin’…”

I don’t know if it was super soaker or not, but I remember having a large squirtgun like that, it had a tank you wore, and a wierd gun that filled when you pulled it forward, then shot a stream as you pushed it back towards the handle.. Though the one pictured would work perfectly seeing as how you could put most of the gun in the slime blower’s gun, and use it’s handle just as-is with a little paint job.

I got some trigger time on one of those, too. Not a Super Soaker as far as I know (the construction was too simple) but probably some kind of knock-off. When Super Soakers came out in the late 80’s, everybody started selling low-quality, generic water guns to cash in on the craze.

I turned my super soaker into a flame thrower! Now that was fun! It did not last long though cause the nozzle melted shut.lol. Those were good times.

At some point, he must’ve thought “Boy.. I’d like to set those people over there on fire.. But I’m way too far away to get the job done.. If only I had a way to throw flame on them” And then it hit him: Flamethrower. Though it wouldn’t have gone any further, except the fact he was good with tools, so a few weeks later BOOOOOOOOM “Flamethrower! Quite a concept!” FWWWWOOOOOOOM!! Then the military showed up and said, “We’d like to buy about 500,000 of these please. And be sure to paint them dark brown, we don’t want anyone to SEE THEM.”

How did you know what happend!lol

  1. I found a better backpack called the Super Soaker CPS 3200, according to some satistics I’ve found it was the largest capicity Super Soaker and backpack produced to date, it came out in 2000! It looks very promising to be used as slime blower! Check it out! :stuck_out_tongue: 8)
