Well, I’m almost done with my first pack. An MDF build that I’ve worked on for the last year using (mostly) Stefan’s plans, with some help from my brother, Plurkle20J, who built his MDF pack last year.
I wish I had taken MORE photos, but you know how it is when you are so into finishing a part that taking a picture is the last thing on your mind! It will be 100% done and ready for DragonCon in a few weeks. At this moment, all I have left is the tip of the thrower to complete.
MANY MONTHS LATER…
Thrower pieces from Nickatron…
Getting close to completion…
Not much left to do (THANK GOODNESS!), and more images to come.
I’m thinking of tackling an MDF scratch build also - my first back is mostly MDF but it weight an absolute ton… mostly because of how I build my spacer (solid shaped layers). Could i ask how much you’re totalled (roughly), and is if still comfortable on the back?
Also if i may ask, how did you tackle the curved parts of the spacer?
