Switching to 3D printing - What to do with a fiberglass shell ?

Hey guys,

A decade ago - sigh! - I payed a dear price to get my hand on a fiberglass shell for my pack. Ten years later, with two kids and two 3D printers, well I can safely say that despites all the troubles I had to get my shell back then, well I’ve never used it. It just sits in a corner of my shop, as it is.

Now we have solid 3D printers, I’m an experienced modeler and I’ve just completed my Hellbent proton pack design, the one I’ve wanted to create all that time. So I can safely say I’ll never use that shell. It would come with a Ion arm and a bumper. All brand new pieces, still in their carboards boxes. And I could do with some extra cash.

So my questions woud be : Could those be sold again? Are people still build packs with fiberglass shells ?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers !

Yep, plenty of folk still using them. If you wanted to sell it via the forum you’d need to buy a supporting membership first though.

It’s not much about selling it, more like testing the water. I bougth the shell years ago and I can consider myself a noob again.

Hello! I might be interested if you decide to part with it.
