It’s not movie Accurate, but it’ll do for now until I can get the proper set up later on. Used a rubber cane tip and a fitting from a dollar store storage bag.

Thanks. I’m not sure about the length of the hose though. I did a quick search and I did cut it to 3.5 ft. long but after a test fit it looked to be too long. I may make it shorter.
The length of the hose can vary, and is roughly based on your height. I’m 5’ 8", and I use about 4 ft. As a rule of thumb, the curve of the hose should go about to your knee. Other factors to consider are; the positioning of the hose connector on your suit, how much hose goes into the connector, and whether you tuck the hose into your belt or just use a fob to secure it.
Of course, it’s ultimately about finding a length that your comfortable with and doesn’t get in the way too much…
i did the same thing with my first jumpsuit, but i just cut a hole in the right spot, pushed it through and duct taped it in the back. works well.
I was thought about doing that too but I was afraid I’d screw it up and end up in with an unwanted hole in the jumpsuit. So everything is a non- accurate equivalent to what is sold here. I plan to eventually replace this setup with something more like the movie.
There’s no need to put a hole in the flight suit. The screen-worn suits never had an actual hole for the hose.
