Hey everyone,
I’m new to the site and a new member. I am originally from New York Citym joined the USAF and now im in California (was stationed at Colorado too).
I’m a huge fan of everything Ghostbusters. I have always lovd ever since being a kid. I bought the newest game about a year and a half ago and loved it. It reignited my love for this franchise (it had slowed down once I had a wife and kids).
I am glad to find this site, i did not know that there was such a huge community out there.
I have been married for 5 years to my wonderful wife, and have two amazing kids who are 3 1/2 and 2.
I’m into all kinfd of music, movies, and video games. If you want to talk about any of them just ask. Same goes for sports.
Here is how I got “reintroduced” into my beloved faranchise:
My daughter was starting to get scared of the dark and having me check for ghost and monsters under her bed and in her closet. I would make them “dissappear” by waving a toy stick in that direction. She then started to do this herself. I then started playing the Ghostbusters Video game in front of her and she loved it, so I made her a “proton pack” it was a fet toys i tied together to a backpack and she loved it. So I then started to show her the cartoon “The Real Ghostbusters” and both kids fell in love.
So now I am trying to get some Kenner Proton Packs for them so they can play. In the process for searching for them I stumbled upon this website and saw pics of people making there own. Then I fell in love all over again. I felt like i was 6 yrs old again.
Fast foward to now, I am trying to create some GB props including a pack (first time doing this) and heading out to San Diego Comic Con decked out in full gear.
