Anyone here fans of Craig Ferguson and The Late Late Show? The final episode of the show was on last night and I have to say I thought the show ended on a high note. Craig Ferguson was by far the most unique of all the Late Night Hosts, and I really am gonna miss the show.
Big fan but I had to miss the last episode due to work. Glad to hear he ended on a high note.
Went to a recording of the show a couple years ago. He didn’t interact with the audience hardly at all and left that to his “warm uo guy”, who was more annoying than funny. Still, it was worth it to go.
I love this show and I’m really going to miss it. What weird, smart, different hour of television.
Here’s clips of the beginning and ending of the final episode.
I love Craig Ferguson; he was hilarious in Modern Vampires (1998).
Good show he had there. What is he going to do since he’s retiring?
:whatever:
He didn’t retire, he just quit the show. He hosts a game show now and has hinted he has a new talk show in the works at a different network. Craig also does stand up nearly every weekend.
I think my own favorite little touch (of many fun little touches) was during his “waking up” from the Late Late Show to Drew Carey; there was a particular mechanical wheezing which was instantly recognizable to me as the sound of the TARDIS from Doctor Who.
The current star of Doctor Who is actor Peter Capaldi. This guy:

I’d really hoped the BBC would have then seen if they could get Ferguson to appear as the Master. If you’ve seen “Dark Water” and “Death In Heaven” you know the BBC went a very different direction with that…
