My real name is Matthew Meade, but I’m just enough of a Star Wars geek to have fashioned myself a jedi alias. : ) I love science fiction and comedy, and it would then fall to reason that the Ghostbusters films would fall right up my alley. I think the blending of the two genres is nothing short of perfect entertainmant, especially because sometimes Sci fi can be come hanevy handed in it’s original form (though this is is no way a bad thing, as I said I love science fiction very much) dealing with weighty issues. a few examples are, of course, Ghostbusters, the british radio/television/book series The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and the movie Evolution. I’m also really like character driven stories because it’s quite fun getting to know and love a new character, and Ghostbusters is chock full of fun and colorful characters (whether they’re ones we love, hate or see only once).
