The Start of making my suit.

**SO I finally was able to buy a flight suit and a belt for my GB gear. Now i am not sure whether to dye it or not. I am sure my fellow Ghostheads can give me some advice? So any help would be appreciated.

Nice, i need to get working on mine as soon as i get some cash flow.

Yeah luckily we checked the local Army surplus and though they did not have a nomex in the color i was looking for I went with this one. Also picked up the belt as well as other little things.

No need to dye it; it looks fine as it is.

Yeah, I would not dye it either. Just got through the pictures from the convention we went last saturday, and it is nice to see how the color changes when the picture is taken on a different backgrounds..

Thanks for the Advice. I figured I would ask you guys to see.

Thanks. I saw your pics and you guys looked great. I will definitely leave it alone then.

actually yes you need to dye it. as of now it is too yellow. these pics may not show it but im sure others will.

That’s also not an accurate belt, dunno if you’re going accurate or not though.

Actually I bought the belt because the grey is spot on and i do not have to dye it. Though the clip is not accurate but hell it still looks good.

It’s also the wrong width and the wrong number of grommets.

that gray is most certainly not “spot-on”

You should have just taken the pics in black and white. then the color ■■■■ would leave you alone! I love you vin!

Yeah I see what you mean. Though I do like the grey for it. And with most pistol belts you should be able to switch out the clips for each other. I remember having to do so in the military a few times.

lmao. All I can say is constructive criticism is always a good thing. I respect any help i am offered.

I appreciate the advice you are giving me on the suit and belt. I hope to do it justice So I am working with what i can find locally but need be i will get the belt from AJ on here.

My belt requires no dyeing.

I agree %500…

My rothco was a complete nightmare before dying it… and a small box of black RIT dye is all you need..
